A Typical Day

A day in the bush starts at around 5:30 am (depending on the time of year) with a “wake up” call from your ranger, followed by early morning tea/coffee served with delicious biscuits and rusks.

An informative game drive begins with the excitement of tracking down untamed wildlife. During this time, there will be a short break in the bush for tea or coffee with a light snack.

The adventure continues , and you return to camp to freshen up. This is followed by a scrumptious breakfast with a choice of a continental or hot options.

You then have time to unwind at the gorgeous infinity pool , visit our library or relax on your private deck , enjoying the sounds and smells unique to the African bushveld. You may catch a glimpse of wild animals browsing around the lodge or a herd of elephants at the watering hole. Some of the elephants may even wander up to the rim flow infinity pool to quench their thirsts.

Lunch is a time for guests to meet one another and share stories. Guests will also be served with a selection of tasty sweet and savoury eats.

After lunch , you’re off for a late afternoon game drive with an opportunity to stop in the bush for sundowners. Here you’ll watch the splendour of the African sun setting over the mountains.

You’ll return to the lodge where you’ll have the chance to either slip back to your suite to freshen up for the evening or gather in the bar for a pre-dinner drink.

Dinner is a gastronomic affair prepared by our in-house chef. Dinner will be served in one of our spectacular settings – around the boma fire , by candlelight in the dining room , on the lodge deck and on occasions , in the bush

Retire to your suite for the evening after a long , but fulfilling day in the bush. Drop off to sleep to the calls of the wilderness and perhaps dream about another adventure-filled day that awaits you in the morning…
